The description
FPGA Embedded Design, Part 2 – Basic FPGA Training is the name of the second part of the FPGA chip training series, in which you will learn basic FPGA concepts.
It’s time to get your hands on a real FPGA!
In this second part of the FPGA Embedded Design series, we’ll get our hands on a real FPGA to bring our designs to life.
We will be using an FPGA development board from Terasic. We will be programming a Cyclone V FPGA from Altera/Intel, using their Quartus Prime development suite.
This course consists of two main parts:
- Foundations of FPGAs, where we will cover the essentials of FPGAs, how they work, what they can and cannot do.
- Hands-on training, where we will design simple hardware and upload it to an FPGA development board. No purchase is required for this second part, but it certainly helps to have your own chart to follow and to continue tinkering with this new superpower in the future.
Who should attend ?
- Anyone wishing to learn FPGA design.
- Curious FPGA Design developers.
- Embedded engineers wanting to learn more about FPGAs.
What you will learn in FPGA Embedded Design Part 2 – Basic FPGA Training Course :
- Build an FPGA embedded solution from scratch using Altera/Intel FPGAs and software.
- Apply your Verilog knowledge to real applications with FPGAs.
