Description
OPC Factory Server is a powerful product and a preferred solution for communication between software systems and control hardware such as PLCs in industry. OPC is derived from the OLE term for Process Control, which is a standard and universal protocol for exchanging data and various parameters between industrial control systems such as Scada. This standard is based on the same technology as Microsoft’s OLE/DCOM technology and aims to increase efficiency and establish a standard and consistent communication bridge between data sources and data consumers. The advantage of this protocol is that it is not hardware dependent. Therefore, it can be prepared for hardware and software environments of various industries.
