Description
OptiNest, the name of the U-shaped design software, is based on a powerful algorithm that uses functions from the CalepiLib library. The program is designed to design comfortable interlocking shapes as well as optimal use of space. The entry of the frame of the parts into the program, as well as the tools and parts that have holes, is possible by the DXF file or by the design by the software itself. The framework of the games, in addition to being determined by a closed multi-weakness, is also described by a sequence of open polygons, arcs and lines. The software allows you to quickly design polygons, rectangles and circular shapes.
The optimization algorithms of this software from several parameters, in particular the thickness of the cutting tools, the calculated depths and the smoothing factor (Italian) of the components used, make that whatever the precision of these parameters, the applied optimization duration is also increased. It is also possible to determine the color, number, rotation and inversion of shapes, as well as group parts of other features provided. The proliferation mode included in this software allows you to place a large number of shapes, with minimal loss of space. Finally, the generated nested maps have the option of getting an output as dfx files transferable to CAD software or a CNC machine.
