Description
LLBLGen is a solution for quick and easy feature modeling and actually creates a feature model layer. LLBLGen is a framework that works well with most existing ORMs such as Entity Framework, NHibernate, Linq To SQL or even your custom ORMs, you can simply design the database modeling layer and then map it to your database . From now on, you just have to write queries. LLBLGen easily maps objects into the relational model. It is widely used in many commercial projects around the world.
This product enables database modeling in database or model-first approaches for developers, and switching between these two models is possible at every stage of the project. Since it is more understandable for visual elements, this product, like other ORMs, uses graphical designers to map objects to the database, increasing flexibility, reducing errors, easier configuration and faster deployment. In the design of this product, you can easily model thousands of different entities together.
There’s more to this beautiful framework than just graphic design, and even the automated code it produces is very clean, tidy, and well-documented to make you feel like you wrote it yourself, so you’ll be very easy to connect to. . LLBLGen supports modern features like async/await, result caching to speed up queries, step loading, transaction error recovery and also Linq to keep you comfortable with the latest .NET technologies when using this product. Along with all the features of this product, it also has high efficiency, which makes it one of the fastest ORMs among the ORMs available.
System requirements
Designer Requirements
The designer of LLBLGen Pro needs .NET Framework v4.5 or higher to operate. The .NET framework is free to download from Microsoft: click here to go there.
Database requirements
To be able to determine the complete schema and all the relationships it contains, LLBLGen Pro requires that all schemas have all necessary foreign key constraints and unique constraints. If your schema does not have foreign key constraints, you can add these relationships manually to the designer.
The following list explains the requirements for the supported database type.
Database | Requirement |
SQL Server / CE Desktop |
No specific requirement |
MS Access 2000 – 2016 |
