Description
GOHFER is a flexible multidisciplinary simulation software which is used exclusively in the simulation of hydraulic gaps. This software has been used in the design, analysis and optimization of the oil well completion process and has included almost all the necessary tools. GOHFER stands for Grid Oriented Hydraulic Fracture Extension Replicator and is widely used in 3D simulation of flat geometric spaces. The software is also equipped with a liquid and solid material transfer simulation system which modifies the final results of the project to some extent. This tool has been used in various companies for about 40 years and its good and reliable performance has been approved by experts.
This software challenged all the old design paradigms and philosophies and with its new and modern methods helped to design more predictable and optimal projects. This software’s proprietary formulation has been used in various types of oil tanks around the world and has been proven to perform well and optimally over time. Well completion is a step-by-step and complex process that equips an oil well with the equipment necessary for extraction. This software holds about 58% market share, which shows its extraordinary performance.

Processor / Memory:
7th Gen processor recommended (upgrade recommended if older than a 6th Gen processor).
Recommended minimum quad-core processor. The 6-core processor is considered ideal.
Uses multi-threading and will benefit from multiple processors.
Non-geological model projects Minimum 8 MB of RAM recommended. Geological model projects > 16 GB of RAM recommended.
Video card:
Memory video card of at least 512K.
Recommend 2GB video memory. The main recommendation is for the card to have its own memory rather than sharing main memory.
Motor priority options:
In the engine execution options in v9.1+, the simulation priority level can be set. The recommendations are shown below based on the number of cores.
- Context: Priority: low priority with half cores / Recommendation: Recommended setting for dual core
- Foreground: Priority: normal priority with all cores / Recommendation: Best for most users
- Maximum performance: Priority: high priority with all cores / Recommendation: Quad core or higher recommended
For additional performance, consider adding the following:
An Nvidia graphics card with 4 GB of RAM
32 GB of RAM
12-core processor (Intel I9 equivalent or higher)
