Description
FEFLOW is a professional software for modeling and simulating underground flows. With this program, experts can simulate transport processes in porous aquifer environments under saturated and unsaturated conditions. The program uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques to solve equations and problems related to groundwater flows. All solutions are provided considering conditions such as saturated or unsaturated water, mass, heat transfer coefficient, molecular/chemical kinetics, etc.
The program was first introduced by Hans-Jörg G. Diersch in 1979. He worked on software development at the Institute of Mechanics of the German Academy of Sciences in Berlin until the 1990s. With the launch of the product over the years, the program has expanded in response to customer feedback and achieved significant improvements. Later, this program became a part of DHI-WASY and saw significant improvements by its team of professionals. One of the most important features of this program which has made it more prominent than any other hydrology and hydrology software is its excellent data structure and visual representation.
It supports GIS software and other conventional output file types in aquatic applications and can easily exchange information with these software. This software is a comprehensive suite of tools that you can use to simulate and simulate a variety of groundwater flows and calculate your required calculations based on different critical conditions. We recommend using this application to water science experts because mastering this software will bring a significant change in your productivity and work efficiency.
