System requirements

BowTieXP (version 9.0 and higher) requires the installation of .NET Framework 4.0 (full profile) or higher. Windows 8 and later comes with a new enough recent version already installed out of the box. On Windows Vista and 7, you have to do this manually, if it’s not already installed.

BowTieXP version 6.2 to 8.4 requires the .NET 3.5 framework. Contact us for more details.

If you want to use the import function from the thesis, you will need MDAC 2.71 or higher. If you’re using Vista or later, this should already be on your system.

In Windows XP, there is a small chance that you need to update the component.
